So what causes dull under eyes?!

The way the light hits your face and the way light is absorbed by the face has always had a profound effect on the appearance of dullness on the skin.

Eye area that is dull will absorb light. Dull eyes tend to be seen as more mature. Let's not forget that the skin around the eyes is the thinnest most delicate skin that can easily appear stressed.

The appearance of dullness can be caused by a few things:

-dryness

-stressed

-overly textured skin

-dark circles

Here are a couple ways you can brighten up your precious eye area:

1. Invest in eye hydration. Eye gels can be great to help immediately hydrate tired and dry eyes.

2. Commit to being GENTLE with your eye area try your best to not pull or tug on your eyes when cleaning, and applying eye area products.

Tip #1 ~ Use Peach Tones

Using a peach tone in your undereye corrector will color-correct bluish-purple shadows beneath the eyes!

Tip #2 ~ Corrector on Top of Foundation

After your foundation either tap or blend corrector with a brush.

Then apply concealer over the corrector that matches your skintone!

Tip #3 ~ Lots of Water

When your body is not receiving the proper amount of water, the skin beneath your eyes begins to look dull and your eyes look sunken. This is due to their close proximity to the underlying bone.

Tip #4 ~ Get Enough Sleep

Sleep deprivation can cause your skin to become dull and pale, allowing for dark tissues and blood vessels beneath your skin to show.

Tip #5 ~ Use Targeted Products

Use an undereye skincare treatment to target undereye circles and puffiness.
