If you love emotional stories about love, loss, and healing ~ especially ones centered around books, this one is truly something special. 🤍

What It’s About 📖
Without giving too much away, this story follows a woman navigating life after loss.
Through books, memories, and unexpected connections, she begins to find her way forward ~ not by forgetting, but by learning how to carry love with her in a new way.
The Heart of This Story 🤍
I went into this book not knowing much at all ~ I’d just heard it was good, the cover was super cute, and I had a day off where I just wanted to read something and get lost in it.
…and I’m so glad I picked this one. 🤍
I was only a few chapters in when I realized I was going to love it ~ and I absolutely did.
To say this book is beautifully written is honestly an understatement. It’s one of those stories that just quietly pulls you in, and before you know it, you’re completely hooked.
Why I Loved It 📚✨
There were so many things that stood out to me while reading:
✨ Emotional but still hopeful ~ it’s about grief, but it never feels heavy in a hopeless way. It’s real and messy in the best way.
✨ Beautiful writing ~ this is one of those books where the words just stay with you.
✨ Bookish elements ~ I loved that each chapter included book recommendations.
✨ Strong characters ~ even the side characters had depth.
✨ The Paris “grief gang” ~ I loved this part of the story so much.
The Writing & The Feel 🥺
This book broke my heart and put it back together more than once.
There were so many lines that stuck with me ~ I even found myself highlighting passages (which I never do), because they just felt too meaningful not to save.
Love, Loss & Moving Forward 🤍
I loved the way this story handled love and loss.
There was something so special about the way he loved her even beyond the grave… and how everything that came after was handled with so much care. It never felt like anything was being replaced ~ just love continuing in a different way.
Healing, remembering, moving forward… all at the same time.
Final Thoughts 💭
This is one of those books that just stays with you.
It’s emotional, meaningful, and beautifully written in a way that feels both heartbreaking and hopeful at the same time.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
